Welcome to Foodtropolis!

The future is a state of mind, and it has a name: Bioeconomy. Today, we are where we would never have dreamed of being ten years ago: We produce edible proteins, from Co2, bacteria and energy, we produce lettuce in space or in polar ice, and we can use artificial intelligence to predict future flavors and thus sales markets.

So, are we at the dawn of a bioeconomic age? This question will be discussed with politicians, start-ups, companies and scientists from all over the world during the Digital Global Food Summit organised on April 28th and 29th. From Singapore to Bangladesh, Israel, the Netherlands and the USA. Start-ups can present themselves on our new live platform and join the discussion.

For the first time, the Digital Global Food Summit is running in collaboration with the German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL) from Quakenbrück, which will contribute to two live sessions.

The Global Food Summit will take place digitally and will be broadcast live from the Wagner Salon at Theresienhöhe in Munich.
