What are Short Food Supply Chains (SFSCs)? How many types of SFSCs exist? Why are they relevant?
The European Food Information Council (EUFIC) just published a very interested article answering these and other questions related to SFSCs. EUFIC is an official partner and Work Package leader in two H2020 multi-actor projects: Strength2Food and SMARTCHAIN. Both projects share a specific interest in the topic of SFSCs and their impact on the local region. This article presents an overview of these two projects, their concepts, methodologies, and main findings and results.
