With a focus on climate and health benefits, this allocation positions Germany as a leader in sustainable protein supply. The recently published BMEL nutrition report reflects changing dietary habits, with 46% consciously limiting meat intake and over half the population purchasing alternative proteins, signalling a growing appetite for sustainable protein options in Germany.
