Amsterdam, Netherlands will host the workshop “Innovative arable crop protection – using pesticides sustainably” from Wednesday, April 19 to Friday, April 21, 2023.

The workshop’s main objectives will be knowledge sharing and the dissemination of creative, inspiring practices that assist farmers, advisers, and other stakeholders in ensuring higher adoption of non-chemical plant protection techniques in arable crops through the use of environmentally and economically sound methods.

The workshop’s main objective is to foster networking between Operational Groups (OGs) and other cutting-edge initiatives and projects addressing sustainable solutions to lower the use of chemical pesticides in agricultural crops. (cereals, oilseeds, legumes, potatoes, sugar beets). To promote greater adoption of non-chemical pest and disease control methods and to assist farmers and advisors on their path to a successful implementation of sustainable plant protection measures, the workshop will create the conditions for knowledge exchange as well as the sharing of innovative and inspirational practices.
